We have a long list of improvements in the pipeline for our Bullhorn WordPress Plugin, each as important as the next to different recruiters. A question that pops up often is ‘which features of the plugin are you currently working on?’.
Our development list has been prioritised by the very technical method of
which features are asked for the most often and asked the loudest
So without further ado, here is the list of features we are working on in priority order.
- Candidate submit resume
We have always featured the excellent Bullhorn Resume Parsing facility within our WordPress plugin, however this assigns candidates to a particular job. We are often asked whether we can add a ‘Resume Upload’ facility directly to the candidates section of Bullhorn. Well, soon we can. - New job alerts
Technically this isn’t new as we developed this a while ago specific to a customer, however they had very niche requirements to how this worked. We are creating a much higher level version that will suit all needs. - Shortcodes
Our WordPress plugin features widgets that allow you to add the search facility anywhere within the website and show latest jobs scrollers and tickers. We are taking this one step further with shortcodes letting you really get specific with your job data. These are 90% complete, letting you do things such as [bullhornplugin category=”engineering” numberresults=”20″] or [bullhornplugin item=”search” fields=”keywords, category, salary, location”] - Easier customisation
Our Bullhorn plugin can do so much, but at the moment this is controlled within the code of the plugin itself. We are working to add this functionality to the WordPress admin area to let you choose which fields to publish which will make integrations even faster and allow you to make changes in the future.
These are the main new features coming soon, do you have a requirement that isn’t on this list? Let us know and we’ll get on to it for you. Contact Bullhorn Plugin.
