A great feature of Bullhorn is how you can customise the ATS to follow your own workflow and data needs. This is accomplished through Bullhorn’s standard fields but also through a range of custom fields, which you can really make your own.
For example, you can use the standard ‘salary’ field to store a numeric salary figure, such as 35000. This salary field is numeric only, but say you want to show a worded salary on your website. You simply use a custom field such as ‘customText1’, name this ‘Salary Web’ for example and populate with a descriptive salary such as ‘$35,000 plus benefits’.
Location is also a popular custom field, often recruiters do not want to give the location away so we use the Bullhorn ‘city’ field. Again you can use a custom field to provide a more descriptive location such as ‘Head Office located in London, remote working considered’.
Most of the Bullhorn to WordPress Plugins available will allow you to use the standard Bullhorn fields, but ours also has the ability to pull every field from the Bullhorn REST API, not only that but every data type. This means that however you currently work, our plugin can use that workflow. Using our Bullhorn to WordPress plugin means that you do not need to change how you work to syncronise jobs to your website.
Bullhorn also recently quietly released many more fields to their REST API, further providing the ability to enhance your data. Our Bullhorn to WordPress plugin, as a result of our close relationship with Bullhorn was able to use these new fields as soon as they were released.
