One of our customers is using the Bullhorn Open Source Career Portal OSCP to display their jobs on their website. For jobs to be listed on the OSCP, Bullhorn requires the jobs to match a certain criteria, namely the jobs have to be Open, Published and have a status of Accepting Candidates.
Not a problem, when the recruiters assign this criteria to each job they want to appear on the Open Source Career Portal. The problem was that hardly any jobs met al of this criteria, as for years, they never used the Publishing button. Infact, on their Bullhorn instance, this button did not exist.
This is where our Bullhorn Automations tool really shines. The recruiters do use Open and the status field religiously. We created them an automation, when a job in Bullhorn is set as Open and Acceoting Candidates, we automatically apply the Publishing button.
Just like magic, their website is now full of jobs, as the criteria for the OSCP is fulfilled via a simple but highly effective Bullhorn Automation.
We initially ran this automation to set all applicable jobs currently within Bullhorn as Published. Another automation script runs continuously looking for jobs that fall in to this criteria, to ensure the jobs list on the OSCP is up to date.
