Bullhorn Data Import Alternatives
We always prefer our customers make informed decisions, we don’t want to work on a project if we aren’t the right solution for them. Our Bullhorn data import is not the only method available to you, let’s take a look at some other options;
- Importing the data yourselves
Your old CRM may provide an export as csv or database file which is great. Put this data into a format you can read and import into Bullhorn. You can use an import tool (import a very small data set first, to ensure the correct data will end up in the correct fields. We’ve seen people’s Bullhorn after failed import where data is all over the place. Client data as a candidate, applications linked to wrong jobs etc. Test test test is the mantra here.
You could also hire some temp staff to manually import, that’s always a ‘fun’ option. - Official Bullhorn Import
Bullhorn provide importing services, they will require an export from your old CRM and populate your account, just like we would. Past customed who have shared their quotes indicate that this official import is between 5 and 10x the cost of our solution. - Hire a developer
We’ve seen companies hire their own developers to migrate their CRM data. A good developer will work closely with you to ensure the data is migrated correctly. This route typically takes several months to create the scripts, test and deploy and works out rather expensive. - Our Bullhorn Data Import
