Doesn’t time fly? It only seems like a few weeks ago that we were planning all of the exciting things for 2023. These exciting updates were not only for our Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin but our whole host of other tools we have available. I am glad to say that we have achieved most of them, whilst also enjoying our busiest year ever for our Bullhorn Plugin.
Our plugin is as actively developed now as it was almost 12 years ago when we initially created it. This year has seen over 1000 commits, adding new features, updating the plugin responding to changes in the Bullhorn REST API, improving and innovating.
The biggest change of 2023 for us is undoubtedly our support process, launched just last month in November 2023. We now have a dedicated team to respond to current customers, using a brand new support ticket system to improve our service further.
This means that our developers can focus on new projects and also further improve our already market leading Bullhorn to WordPress plugin.
So what else have we been up to this year?
AI has been huge in 2023, obviously we had to have a dabble and created some great AI tools to power up Bullhorn. Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more on how we have been using AI to improve your workflows even further…
Many Bullhorn customers use third party tools to post their jobs to various job boards, this year we increased our offering and now have expanding the number of job boards we post to from Bullhorn, all native to the plugin. No extra services needed, or importantly, additional costs for these services.
As I mentioned earlier, there have been over 1000 commits to our plugin in 2023, making it faster and better that ever.
What didn’t we achieve in 2023
The astute of you will have noted that I mentioned in the first paragraph that we achieved most of our objectives for this year. So what didn’t we achieve?
A requested item we wanted to develop this year was a proximity search feature. You know the type, ‘list jobs xx miles from yy location’. This is still on our list to provide as a standard feature to our plugin, however we have been working with a popular search plugin to offer this for current customers.
Another feature we wanted to improve upon was our Job Alert system. We have Bullhorn Automations that provide job alerts, but we also want to include as standard in our Bullhorn to WordPress plugin. Until this is complete (second quarter 2024), our automation product will achieve the same end result.
