Bullhorn’s Open Source Career Portal (OSCP) allows you to place your Bullhorn jobs on to your website. It also accepts job applications that store right back in to the Bullhorn CRM, which is an awesome tool for your recruitment business.
But sometimes you need a little more. Maybe the fields pulled through the OSCP are the ones you want to use, or the design of the OSCP doesn’t match the rest of your website, or you just want more control. In that case, it’s time to replace the OSCP with a premium alternative, just like our own Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin.
The Process of Replacing the OSCP
Our first task is to work out with you exactly what you want to achieve through your candidate portal. How should it look, what fields should it use, what data should we send back to Bullhorn etc.
The Bullhorn OSCP runs on a Bullhorn server, that means that the job info is not served from your website. The second task is to create the synchronisation scripts to pull this Bullhorn powered data directly onto your own website.
Now that we have your data, let’s make it visible on your website. We create job search pages, job list pages, job detail pages, candidate registration and log in pages and make them look exactly how you need them to look.
This sounds like a lot of work, and it is but after doing this for over 10 years, we know what we are doing. A typical candidate portal project takes just 5 days from start to finish. We require your involvement to let us know what you want to achieve, we then do the rest. We ask you at the end to perform some tests that all is working as expected within your back end Bullhorn CRM.
Will we need to change our Bullhorn Workflows?
No.
Our Bullhorn to WordPress Plugin is created to allow you to have to only focus within Bullhorn. The website once configured will take care of itself, having been configured to run to suit your workflow. The Bullhorn Open Source Career Portal (OSCP) requires you to work to a set criteria, whereas our plugin adapts around you and your workflow.
